Bathroom Renovations FAQs in Beaumaris

What carpentry is included in bathroom renovations?

Athans Building Services can remove and replace bathroom fixtures, build shower and bath surrounds, install vanities and storage, and fit doors and timber trims. Carpentry can also include skirtings, architraves and cabinetry, helping create a practical, well finished bathroom in Beaumaris.

Can the bathroom layout be changed in Beaumaris?

A bathroom layout can be changed where the project allows. Athans Building Services can carry out the carpentry needed to reshape the space, including adjusting framing and preparing openings for plumbing and electrical work. Plumbing and electrical trades handle their own work as part of the renovation.

How are damaged bathroom frames repaired?

Damaged wall or floor framing can be repaired or replaced as part of bathroom renovation carpentry. Athans Building Services assesses the affected timber and carries out the required carpentry before the wall or floor is covered again. The repair scope depends on the condition and extent of the damage.

Do you prepare openings for plumbing and electrical?

Athans Building Services can prepare openings in the framing for plumbing and electrical work during a bathroom renovation. This helps the required trades carry out their work in the planned locations. The carpentry is coordinated with the renovation sequence so it can be completed before finishes are installed.

What helps protect walls beneath bathroom finishes?

Moisture resistant substrates provide a suitable base beneath bathroom finishes. Athans Building Services can install these as part of the carpentry work and coordinate the details with waterproofing and tiling. This helps the separate stages of the renovation fit together before the finished surfaces are installed.

How can a renovation improve bathroom storage?

A bathroom renovation can make better use of available space with a new vanity, storage and carefully planned cabinetry. Athans Building Services can install these carpentry elements and finish them with the surrounding trims. The right arrangement depends on the room layout and how the bathroom is used.
